Woodinville UU Church and Northlake UU Church have planned a special service for UUs east of Lake Washington/ Seattle to gather after the elections. This election day is especially important for UUs in Washington state, as voters will decide on Referendum 74, which upholds Marriage Equality.

Billed as “A Time to Weep or Laugh – Mourn or Dance,” all are invited on Wednesday, Nov. 7th, at 7:00 pm, at Northlake Unitarian Universalist Church, 308 4th Avenue South (at State Street), Kirkland, WA.

The two churches have announced, “We will gather to weep and mourn or laugh and dance following the outcome of the election. This will be a service of words and music and blessing of all relationships whether same sex or opposite sex. Bring your friends, your neighbors, your families. And most importantly, bring your stories to share with one another.”

The service will include a potluck dessert (please bring items to share), and a Blessing of All Relationships.

Local UUs are invited to download and post this Nov 7th R-74 Event flyer to spread the news.
