The Addiction Ministries Task Force at Shoreline UU Church has recently expanded its focus to include Mental Health ministries. Through their research, they have discovered that there is a great need for support for families and friends of people with a lived experience of mental illness. Their latest project is an effort to meet this need in the community: Announcing Families and Friends Support Group for those whose lives have been touched by mental health issues, beginning March 26, 2012 – 6:30 to 8:30 PM – The meeting runs until 8:00 with fellowshipping until 8:30. They will meet regularly on the fourth Monday of every month at Shoreline Unitarian Universalist Church, 14724 1st AVE NE, Shoreline WA 98155. This meeting is sponsored by the Shoreline UU Church Mental Health Ministry. For more information contact: Barbara Cornell, 206-367-9485 or email@example.com.
