The Addiction Ministries Task Force at Shoreline UU Church has recently expanded its focus to include Mental Health ministries. Through their research, they have discovered that there is a great need for support for families and friends of people with a lived experience of mental illness. Their latest project is an effort to meet this need in the community: Announcing Families and Friends Support Group for those whose lives have been touched by mental health issues, beginning March 26, 2012 – 6:30 to 8:30 PM – The meeting runs until 8:00 with fellowshipping until 8:30. They will meet regularly on the fourth Monday of every month at Shoreline Unitarian Universalist Church, 14724 1st AVE NE, Shoreline WA 98155.
