Seattle’s University Unitarian Church will hold its annual Used Book Sale on Saturday, June 18 (10-4) and Sunday, June 19 (9-2). The sale will feature thousands of titles from the newest best sellers to long out-of-print treasures. Prices vary from $1 for hardbacks and $.50 for paperbacks, to a select group of “Better Books” at slightly higher prices. The latter tend to be rare or unusual volumes. For example, this year they feature an early edition of Gone with the Wind. There are special prices on Sunday after 1 p.m. when a grocery-sized bag of books is $4 and “Better Books” are half price. All proceeds go to UUC to enhance their ministry.
