Congratulations to Westside UU Congregation (Seattle, WA), chosen as one of four Breakthrough Congregations to be highlighted at UUA General Assembly this year! Their short video will be shown during Friday morning’s Plenary session (June 24), and leaders will co-present a workshop on Friday afternoon to offer both inspiration and insight into how they have grown their congregation in both spirit and numbers by overcoming obstacles that had previously inhibited such growth.
Westside is the third PNWD congregation to be chosen as a Breakthrough Congregation since the recognition program began in 2005. They join Quimper UU Fellowship (Port Townsend, WA), honored that first year, and First Unitarian Church of Portland (OR), honored in 2007.
