PNWD has updated its front page to feature an article on Transgender Awareness, written by the Rev. Lois Van Leer.
Rev. Van Leer is minister of the Woodinville UU Church (WA), which will co-sponsor a workshop on November 9, “Beyond Awareness: Transitioning Communities, Gender Justice and Our Trans Neighbors.”
The workshop will be held from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Northlake UU Church in Kirkland, WA. Northlake is co-sponsoring the workshop with WUUC. Lunch is included in the registration fee of $150 for a congregational team of up to five. (The fee is slightly higher for congregations that are not “fair share” in district dues and UUA Annual Program Fund contributions.)
