Stewardship Teams! Breathe new life into your congregation’s stewardship! This workshop is for those looking to learn more or who are new to the stewardship process. Come join us on Saturday, January 21 from 9 AM to 3 PM at The Unitarian Universalist Church in Eugene, Oregon.
This Saturday workshop will cover: What motivates people to give, how to get your members comfortable with talking about financial commitments, different options for the annual budget drive, tools to educate and motivate your congregation and year-round stewardship methods and how to plan well for success.
Mary Gleason joined UUA Congregational Stewardship Services in 2007 and has served over two-dozen congregations and several UU-affiliated organizations. She describes the workshop sessions as a combination of presentation and exercises (fun ones that don’t make your muscles hurt) as well as time for questions and answers. Come, participate and return to your church community with ideas and tools to ramp up the funding for your mission and vision!
