Thank you for supporting the health and growth of Pacific Northwest congregations! Your efforts help sustain sanctuaries for liberal religious values, bulwarks in these fraught times.
This is your Winter Call for the 2019-2020 church year. Donations to this Winter Call and to the recent Fall Call will support a renovation project at the Anchorage Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (AUUF).
The sanctuary in the growing Anchorage congregation has a raised chancel area that does not meet safety codes and is not accessible to sight- or mobility-challenged members and visitors. AUUF needs your help to fund their architect-designed $25,000 plan to remodel this platform with an accessible ramp and safe steps with handrails. Your donations to the Fall and Winter Chalice Lighter calls will enable renovations that will not only help AUUF safely use its space for regular services and congregational activities, but will also ensure that its church home is a functional, welcoming gathering place for the greater Anchorage community.
Please donate now. The amount we ask each person to pledge to give to each call is $20, but any amount you can contribute is received with gratitude. For your convenience you may, if you choose, donate to this year’s two remaining calls at the same time. Also, you can now have your gift automatically charged to your credit card or debited from your bank account each month. Automatic giving may be set up on the PNWD automatic giving page. One-time gifts may be made on the PNWD giving page. Direct costs to administer the call are reimbursed from the donations before the grant is issued. More of your money will go toward the grant if you opt for emailed call letters and make your contribution online. Donations for this call will be accepted through February 29, 2020.
