Religious Educators on the Move

Welcome to the following Religious Educators who are beginning new positions at PNWD congregations!

Amelia Carroll began serving Kitsap UU Fellowship (Bremerton, WA) on August 1, as Acting Director of Religious Education (DRE) .

Carrie Krause began in August as Director of Lifelong Learning for the Woodinville UU Church. Carrie and her family have lived in Woodinville for a year, having relocated from the Portland, OR, area, where Carrie served as Associate DRE at the UU Community Church of Washington County (Hillsboro, OR).

With Labor Day weekend, Cedars UU Church (Bainbridge Island, WA) welcomed Candee Cole as DRE. Prior to this position, Candee had served the UU Church in Eugene, OR, as DRE for 20 years.

Katy Siepert will serve as acting DRE at the UU Church in Eugene (OR) as of September 1.

Best wishes to Cathy Tauscher, who retired in June after 8 years of service to the Woodinville UU Church (WA). Cathy is a long-time DRE in the Pacific Northwest, having served for 12 years at Evergreen UU Church (Marysville) prior to Woodinville. Cathy lives on Whidbey Island, where she raises minature horses.
